Takier George (she/her) is an honors junior at Howard University studying as an English major with a creative writing concentration and a film minor from Arlington, Virginia. She was a part of the D.C. Youth Slam team from 2019 to 2021. Last year, two of her poems were published in Howard University’s Sterling Notes Literary Magazine. Takier is the vice-president of the Sterling Allen Brown English now serves as the Editor-In-Chief of the Sterling Notes Literary Magazine. She is also a part of the Howard Chapter Sigma Tau Delta English Society and serves as its vice president. Takier is currently working on her first chapbook. |

She has a focus on the philosophy of gender, sexuality, and aesthetics. | Iyanla Savage (they/them) is a third-year English/Creative Writing major and Photography minor at Howard University from North Carolina. They are serving as the President of the Sterling Allen Brown English Society and an editor of Sterling Notes. They also like to play chess and skateboard. |

She has a concentration in Archival Studies, primarily considering the evolution of African American music and culture. |

| Dr. Sean Pears's academic research focuses on literature and rhetoric in the United States, particularly the aesthetics and politics of Reconstruction. His articles have appeared or are forthcoming in English Literary History, The Arizona Quarterly, and The Emily Dickinson Journal. He has also published reviews and essays in Jacket2, The Denver Quarterly, Fanzine, and elsewhere. His edited collection of essays about poetics at the University at Buffalo, At Buffalo: The Invention of a New American Poetry (2020), was published by Lake Forest Press.

| Miles Adedjouma (He/Him) is an avid writer who's been penning stories since before he knew what the alphabet was. Not Of Your World is his first published work. When he's not writing, he is either studying for his computer science major, or watching/attempting to convince his friends to watch the latest Tokusatsu series.

Amaar Zarrieff is a freshman TV and Film major from Toledo, Ohio. Amaar is an aspiring writer and filmmaker, looking to make an impact wherever and whenever he can. Poetry started as a hobby for him at first, but Amaar genuinely loves the medium as a way to decompress after a tough week.

| Jadyn Pilgrim is a vivid writer from PG County, Maryland. She started writing emotive stories when she was young and continued her creative writing work, telling her characters' fascinating narratives. Jadyn explores her characters' fictional worlds and experiences and brings them to life in a captivating way.

K.E. Drew is a Junior SLMC - Legal Communications major with a minor in English from Atlanta, Georgia. They are primarily a fiction writer with a passion for fantasy and science fiction. Their poetry is their more personal work, but they love it just as much. |
| Alyssa Nadella (she/they) is a queer creative expressionist and a student at Howard University. She is a senior journalism major and political science minor from Orlando, Florida. They are one of the first Cathy Hughes School of Communication Newmark Scholars. Nadella is an advocate for mental health awareness in the Black community. She aspires to give back and uplift her communities through her writings and YouTube videos, Unapologetically Lyss.

Chiara Raffaella Ciampa is a full-time lecturer in the Department of English at Howard University. She graduated from the University of L'Aquila (Italy) and received her PhD from King's College London with a dissertation on "Pindar and the Presocratics". She currently teaches two courses at Howard: “Pandemics in Ancient and Modern Literature: from Homer to Gabriel García Márquez” (Humanities) and “Ideas in the Presocratic Philosophers” (Ideas in Antiquity). She likes yoga and dancing Cuban salsa, Argentinian tango and Senegalese sabar.

| Kyrah Simon (she/they) is a recent graduate of Howard University’s College of Arts and Sciences. They are pursuing writing as a profession and learning what that means in an economy that encourages homelessness and starvation.

Arlo Arctia (they/them) is a 20-year-old poet, writer, and Howard University creative from Louisiana. Informed by introspection and life experiences, Arctia finds their insight through emotional exploration.

| Isaiah Holloway is a current Howard University student studying for a B.A. in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. A native of Prince George’s County, Maryland, Holloway has been writing poetry since his senior year of high school in 2017. He strives for his writings to inspire people in the same way he was inspired when he first began, through works such as his favorite book series, The Percy Jackson Series.

Ixele Akinmowo-Simon (they/them) is a junior TV/Film major and English minor from Brooklyn, New York. They are a multidisciplinary artist whose main focus lies in graphic design, drawing, ceramics, and digital art. Their work aims to capture the idea that there is inspiration in everything as well as the power in one’s own imagination.

| Angel Bryant is a senior Honors International Affairs major and Japanese minor from Jacksonville, Florida. Her passion for creative writing and telling stories led her to found The Writer's Guild, a student creative writing organization on campus.

Tiasia Saunders is a junior Journalism major/ English minor from Danville, Virginia. During her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and crocheting. She wants to become a published author of young adult novels in the future. Additionally, her dream career path is to become a data tech journalist that integrates datasets with new stories.

| Emily Jones, (she/her), is a second year student at Howard University currently studying Computer Science. Emily is currently a part of The National Society of Black Engineers, Society of Women Engineers, and the Steel Bridge. Emily began writing stories as a child which later turned into her passion of writing short poems and stories about her life and enjoys thrifting and styling her thrifted pieces. Emily aims to graduate with her bachelor's degree of Science and hopes to encourage young black and brown women to enter the technology industry and to not be discouraged. | Quaran Evyn Ahmad (born December 11, 2001) is an artist, filmmaker, and music artist. | Selam Getu (she/her) is a junior English major and African studies minor from Portland, Oregon. She writes poetry and fiction exploring Ethiopian-American families and her North Portland upbringing. | Trinity Taylor is currently a Freshman at Howard University in the process of studying audio production. The 18-year-old started creative writing at the age of 16 to go along with the music she makes. She believes every variety of art is one of the most powerful and beautiful things humans can offer to the world. |
| Naika Belizaire (they/them) is a Freshman Pre-Law Political Science Major, Community Development Minor, from Las Vegas, Nevada. Naika has been in love with poetry and all things literature since elementary school but only started writing poetry in high school. | Kennedi White (she/her/hers) is a sophomore Physics major, Math and English double minor from Savannah, Georgia. She initially began her writing journey in fantasy but has now transitioned into poetry and contemporary fiction. While inspiration can come from many places, her current source is deep introspection.
